Newport Digital To Launch Ruggedized RFID Reader

Newport Beach, California  --  Wireless technology company Newport Digital Technologies announced that it has licensed the Windows Mobile platform and will launch a new family of handheld RFID readers.

Called the N37B Ruggedized Handheld RFID reader, the device will be aimed at markets for asset tracking, inventory management and point-of-sale in B2B applications.

The company will also roll out additional integrated options that include 3G connection modules and location and navigation based GPS features.
